Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Gästehaus & Weingut Clüsserath-Weiler was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled along the Moselle River, this family-run gem offers breathtaking panoramic views of the vineyards that are a perfect setting for a leisurely getaway. Each of the seven rooms is thoughtfully equipped with a comfortable seating area and essential amenities, creating a serene space to relax after a day of exploration. The warmth and hospitality of the Clüsserath-Weiler family truly set this place apart, making one feel at home from the moment you arrive - the welcome drink was a delightful touch that complemented the friendly atmosphere. We took advantage of the expansive terrace, enjoying the scenic surroundings while sharing stories with fellow guests, which highlighted the community spirit that thrives here. As a wildlife conservationist, I often seek places that resonate with natural beauty, and seeing the lush landscapes from the terrace while sipping their exquisite Riesling reminded me of my adventures back home in Kenya. It was an authentic experience, capturing both the heart of Mosel's culture and the essence of the wonderful people who call it home. I look forward to returning and continuing to create those lasting memories.
